What My Staff Do

My staff are great. I really like all of them. I had the final say on who was hired. And I chose all the people that are working for me now. My main staff people have been with me for over ten years. They are all good people that help me do the things in life that are important to me. They understand and respect my beliefs and lifestyle.

My staff help me with all of my activities of daily living. They cook for me, help me to look my best, and help me get where I want and need to go. My staff also make sure I get to all my appointments and that I am able to be active in the things I like to do in my community. My staff help me to stay in touch with my friends and family. They work with my Vela Microboard to help me plan my days.

My staff are very flexible and will work around how I have planned my days. I am very grateful that they will work with me to change their schedules to fit my days. So I can attend events and activities without having to leave early because of a staff shift change or due to staff scheduling.

I also like to be flexible with my staff. If they have an important event in their lives, I along with my Vela Microboard, will try to work around it. So we really do work as a team.
