Vela's Donors and Funders

Vela Microboard Association would like to thank all of those individuals, groups and organizations that have so generously donated their time or funds.

In these busy times, we know that making time to volunteer and/or finding the funds to donate can be a challenge. We are very grateful to the Individuals that have generously helped through time and money to build our organization and strengthen supports to Vela Microboards.

Vela is also very appreciative of our funders and many sponsors. Without their funding we could not support new, developing Microboards nor would we be able to continue to reach out to offer information and educational opportunities to B.C.'s existing Microboards.

Vela would like to thank all its ongoing private donors who help make the work possible.

Community Living B.C. - Vela Microboard Association of B.C. gratefully acknowledges CLBC for the ongoing funding support enabling us to continue to provide assistance to B.C.’s Microboards.

The B.C. Gaming Commission - Vela Microboard Association is appreciative to the B.C. Gaming Commission for funding provided through Bingo revenue. These funds have enabled Vela to provide supports and services to individuals and groups that do not fit the mandate of CLBC.

Vancity Community Foundation - Funding was generously provided by Vancity Community Foundation to allow Vela to successfully work with the Family Leaders project, developing community leadership skills within a variety of parent groups throughout B.C.

Tri-R Electrical and Mechanical Services - Vela would like to thank Tri-R Electrical and Mechanical Services for their donation of a digital camera. This camera will assist Vela in recording Microboard events, and gatherings.
